Fachri Albar was born in Jakarta, on November 15, 1981. He is the first child of legendary rocker couple Ahmad Albar and Rini S. Bono. He has two younger biological brothers, (the late) Faldy Albar and Ozzy Albar.
In addition to his two siblings, Fachri is also the older brother of racers Sean Gelael (half-brother) and Malayeka Shezan Albar (half-brother). The actor grew up in a strong artistic and musical environment.
